How to Choose a Balsamic

Dark or White?

Traditional Dark Balsamic Vinegar is the bottle to start with. It works on roasted vegetables, in marinades and over fresh mozzarella.

White balsamics keep light dishes looking light. Cranberry Pear and Sicilian Lemon are two of our most popular.

Many of our balsamics are made in Modena, Italy, and each one has its own sweetness and body.

Go Beyond the Salad Bowl

Add a splash to a pan sauce, drizzle it over a grain bowl or spoon it over berries for dessert. Sweetness and tang vary between bottles, so start small and taste.

Try a little in sparkling water for a refreshing drink. It's one of the easiest ways to enjoy a fruit balsamic.

Premium Vinegars FAQs

Are all of these balsamic?

Yes. Every bottle here is an aged dark or white balsamic. Champagne White Wine Vinegar lives in our Specialty Oils & Vinegars collection.

Do I need to reduce balsamic first?

No. Our aged balsamics are thick enough to drizzle right from the bottle.

Is balsamic only for savory food?

Not at all! Fruit and dessert balsamics are delicious over berries, yogurt and vanilla ice cream.
