It is aged using the Solera System for up to 18 years in chestnut, oak, mulberry and ash barrels.​ The spectacular density of this dark balsamic vinegar comes naturally without thickeners or added sugar, from a lengthy aging process and cooking in copper kettles.

The best balsamic ever!!!

Love this. Use it on vegetables and on salads (as is, without mixing with olive oil). Have recommended to friends as well. Nothing compares. It's perfect.

The best and I mean best balsamic

It’s very difficult to choose a favorite oil/vinegar from this store but this is my all time favorite. I use this in salads, gravy’s and dipping sauces. I used to purchase the store bought ones but never again. It is the smoothest balsamic that I have ever tasted and my go to when I’m purchasing a gift set for someone. I’m always sad when my bottle is low but it’s such a joy going in the Franklin store and discovering even more wonderful oils/ vinegars. It’s always hard to choose a favorite here. You can’t go wrong
