Crisp pears, peppery arugula, and crunchy walnuts tossed in a sweet and nutty vinaigrette made with our Walnut Oil (or EVOO) and Cinnamon Pear Balsamic.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
- 4 cups arugula (or mixed greens)
- ½ cup walnuts, toasted
- ½ cup crumbled blue cheese (or goat cheese)

2 tablespoons Walnut Oil (or Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil)

1 tablespoon Cinnamon Pear Balsamic (or Fig Balsamic)
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

½ teaspoon honey
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Directions
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil (or walnut oil), Cinnamon Pear Balsamic, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and pepper until emulsified.
- On a large platter or in a salad bowl, layer sliced pears and arugula.
- Sprinkle with toasted walnuts and crumbled blue cheese.
- Drizzle the vinaigrette over the top just before serving and toss gently. Add an extra drizzle of balsamic if you like it a bit sweeter.
