๐Ÿ… The Caprese Everyone Is Craving Right Now

Why Simple + Premium Olive Oil Is the Trend of the Season

Thereโ€™s something magical happening in food right now โ€” weโ€™re going back to simple.

After years of complicated recipes and over-the-top ingredients, people are craving clean flavors, fewer ingredients, and real quality. And nothing captures that better than a classic Caprese Salad.

Fresh mozzarella. Sun-ripened tomatoes. Fragrant basil.
And the star of the show? A bold, fresh Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

The reason Caprese is trending again is simple: when ingredients are this fresh, you donโ€™t need much. But what you do use matters. A vibrant, peppery olive oil transforms this dish from ordinary to unforgettable.

At The Little Shop of Olive Oils, we always say โ€” if a recipe only has five ingredients, every single one needs to shine.

We love Caprese because it celebrates simple, beautiful ingredients at their best. Juicy tomatoes, creamy fresh mozzarella, fragrant basil โ€” and a generous drizzle of premium extra virgin olive oil that brings it all together. Itโ€™s fresh, light, and full of flavor, proving that when ingredients are this good, you donโ€™t need much else.
