Bacon Wrapped Asparagus with Balsamic Drizzle

Bacon Wrapped Asparagus with Balsamic Drizzle

This Bacon Wrapped Asparagus with Balsamic Drizzle is one of those appetizers that feels a little fancy, but is actually so simple to make. Crisp-tender asparagus gets wrapped in smoky bacon, roasted until golden, and finished with a rich balsamic drizzle that brings everything together.

What makes this recipe really shine is the balance of flavors. The bacon adds that salty, savory crispness, while the asparagus keeps things fresh and bright. A drizzle of our Traditional Balsamic adds just the right touch of sweetness and depth, making each bite feel beautifully balanced.

Serve these for holidays, dinner parties, backyard gatherings, or as an easy side dish when you want something that looks impressive without much effort. They’re simple, flavorful, and always one of the first things to disappear from the table.

  • 2 tbsp Traditional Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Franklin Raw Honey, optional
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: fresh rosemary or thyme, for garnish

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Divide asparagus into small bundles of 3–4 spears.

  4. Lightly brush asparagus tips with olive oil and season with cracked black pepper.
  5. Roast for 20–25 minutes, or until bacon is crisp and asparagus is tender.
