Strawberry Basil Salad with Strawberry Basil Vinaigrette

Ingredients (Serves 24)

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 2 cups of baby spinach or arugula
  • ½ cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds or sliced almonds (optional, for crunch)
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

For the Vinaigrette:

Instructions:

  • In a small bowl or jar, whisk together the Strawberry Dark Balsamic, Basil Olive Oil, mustard, honey, and salt until smooth and emulsified.
  • In a large bowl, gently toss the strawberries, spinach, and basil leaves.
  • Drizzle with vinaigrette and top with sesame seeds or almonds. Finish with freshly ground black pepper.
