Ingredients:
- 1 lb. ground beef or turkey
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon Himalayan Sea Salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tablespoon Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- ½ cup Strawberry Dark Balsamic Vinegar
- ¼ cup local Franklin Raw Honey
- ¼ cup tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and milk. Mix until well combined but do not overmix to keep the meatballs tender.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs. This should yield about 20-24 meatballs.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the olive oil, strawberry dark balsamic vinegar, local honey, tomato sauce, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.
- Place the meatballs in the crockpot. Pour the sauce over the meatballs, making sure they are coated evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the meatballs are cooked through.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
