Butter Kissed Apple Tart

  • Preheat oven to 375ºF (190ºC).
  • Roll out the puff pastry or tart dough on a lightly floured surface to fit your tart pan. Press the dough into the pan, trimming off any excess.
  • In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with lemon juice, 2 tbsp Butter Olive Oil, sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until evenly coated.
  • Arrange the apple slices in a spiral or overlapping pattern on the tart crust. Start from the outer edge and work your way to the center for a beautiful design.
  • Drizzle the remaining 1 tbsp Butter Olive Oil over the apples for a rich, buttery finish.
  • Place the tart in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the apples are tender.
  • If desired, lightly drizzle honey or maple syrup over the tart once it’s out of the oven. Allow it to cool slightly before serving.
