Holiday Pear & Prosciutto Tart
Share
Crispy, golden, and beautifully festive — this Holiday Pear & Prosciutto Tart is one of those recipes that looks impressive but couldn’t be easier to make. The combination of flaky puff pastry, juicy pears, and salty prosciutto creates the perfect sweet-and-savory bite for any holiday gathering.
Each layer brings something special — buttery pastry for crunch, ripe pears for sweetness, and prosciutto for that irresistible richness. A drizzle of Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil from The Little Shop ties it all together, while creamy goat cheese and a touch of honey or maple syrup add balance and warmth.
Serve it as an appetizer, brunch bite, or elegant side dish alongside a crisp white wine or sparkling cider. It’s simple, seasonal, and guaranteed to be the first thing gone from the table.

Ingredients
- 1 sheet (13x9-inch) puff pastry, thawed
- 2 ripe pears, diced or thinly sliced
- 4 slices prosciutto, torn into ribbons

-
1 Tbsp honey or maple syrup

- Arrange pears evenly over the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border. Top with prosciutto and sprinkle with goat cheese.
- Drizzle with honey or maple syrup, then season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Fold the pastry edges over to create a rustic border.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until pastry is puffed and golden brown.
- Remove from oven, cool slightly, and drizzle with Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired.
- Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
