Share
Ingredients:
- 1 package of crescent roll dough (8 rolls)
- 8 small slices of brie cheese (about 1-inch pieces)
- ¼ cup Black Fig Jam
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash, optional)
- Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375ºF (190ºC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles.
- Place a small slice of brie cheese at the wide end of each triangle. Add a small dollop of fig jam (about ½ teaspoon) on top of the brie.
- Starting at the wide end, gently roll up each triangle, ensuring the filling is enclosed. Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.
- For a golden finish, brush each roll with a beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and puffed.
- Allow the rolls to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme for a festive touch, if desired. Pair with extra fig jam on the side for dipping!
