Tuscany is famed for its beauty, wine, beef, and olive oil. The Spice House created Tuscan olive oil seasoning to add zing to bread-dipping oil. We soon realized it's also great on croutons, mixed in with breadcrumbs for a casserole topping, or as a flavoring for mac and cheese.
For dipping bread, mix 2 tablespoons or more of our Tuscan Seasoning with 1/2 cup of your favorite olive oil. For a tasty vinegar and oil salad dressing, mix 2 tablespoons Tuscan Seasoning with 2/3 cups oil and 1/3 cup vinegar, and let it stand for at least 15 minutes. This blend is quite versatile and can be used without any olive oil added to it. It can be used as a dry rub for chicken, lamb or pork chops, or as a marinade for these meats. It's also delicious as a seasoning for breading or a topping for macaroni and cheese, or try mixing some with the ground meat when making Italian meatballs.
