Herbes de Provence Grilled Chicken

There’s something about grilling that makes dinner feel relaxed and easy — even on a busy day.
This Herbes de Provence Grilled Chicken is one of those recipes I reach for when I want something dependable but still full of flavor. The beauty of using Herbes de Provence Olive Oil is that it already carries those classic notes of rosemary, thyme, lavender, and savory herbs. Add a little lemon and garlic, and you’ve got a marinade that feels like it came straight from the French countryside.
What I love most is how versatile it is. Slice it over a salad, tuck it into a sandwich, serve it alongside roasted vegetables, or pair it with simple greens and grilled lemons. It’s clean, herb-forward, and satisfying without being heavy.
Good olive oil really does make the difference here. It keeps the chicken tender and infuses every bite with flavor — no complicated steps required.

3 tbsp Herbes de Provence Olive Oil
-
2 tsp Herbes de Provence Spice Blend
-
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
-
2 garlic cloves, minced

In a small bowl, whisk together the Herbes de Provence Olive Oil, spice blend, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
Place the chicken in a shallow dish or zip-top bag. Pour the marinade over the chicken and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.

Grill the chicken for 6–7 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Serve with fresh greens, cherry tomatoes, grilled lemon slices, or your favorite side dishes.
Recipe Note
Tracey’s Notes
- If your chicken breasts are thick, pound them slightly for even cooking.
- This is wonderful sliced and served cold over a salad the next day.
- A final drizzle of Herbes de Provence Olive Oil just before serving adds extra brightness.
