Hey Everyone! Let’s talk about that green, creamy, herb-packed magic—yes, I’m looking at you, Green Goddess dressing. Think bright, tangy, fresh vibes that take any salad from “meh” to “wow!” without breaking a sweat.
Why all the hype?
First off, this dressing’s roots go way back—to San Francisco in the 1920s. Legend says it was whipped up at the Palace Hotel to honor a play called The Green Goddess. Fast forward a century, and we’re still drizzling it on everything
What’s in it? The love potion essentials
– A creamy base: mayo, yogurt, sour cream, or—as EVOO suggests—Greek yogurt for that tangy zip
– Fresh herbs like parsley, tarragon, chives (sometimes even mint or cilantro—go wild)
– Garlic & lemon juice = brightness and zing
– Capers, anchovies, or Dijon mustard for that savory oomph
Personal favorite combo? Greek yogurt + heaps of parsley/basil + lemon + garlic + a punch of Dijon. Boom—you've got creamy, dreamy deliciousness.
So… who's with me?
Whether you're a die-hard herb nut or just looking for a quick boost to your weeknight salads, Green Goddess dressing is your new kitchen sidekick. Bright, bold, and low-maintenance—what's not to love?

Tracey’s Notes:
This is one of those dressings that just makes everything taste fresh and put together. I love how the combination of herbs, avocado, and Garlic Olive Oil gives it a really nice creamy texture without feeling too heavy. It’s great on salads, but I also use it as a dip for vegetables or even spread on sandwiches when I want something a little different. If you have extra herbs on hand, this is such a good way to use them up and turn them into something really flavorful.
