Honey Apple Olive Oil Cake

There’s something about apples and honey that just feels comforting.
This Honey Apple Olive Oil Cake is one of those simple desserts that feels homey, a little rustic, and just right any time of year. It’s made with thin slices of fresh red apples, Butter Premium Olive Oil, and a generous drizzle of Franklin Raw Honey for a cake that’s soft, golden, and full of warm, sweet flavor.
What I love most about this recipe is that it doesn’t need anything fancy. A handful of pantry ingredients, a few apples, and a good olive oil come together into something that feels special without being complicated.
The apples are arranged in the pan first, which gives the cake such a beautiful look once it’s baked. Then a simple batter is poured over the top and baked until just set. After that comes one of my favorite parts — a mixture of eggs and honey poured over the warm cake before it goes back into the oven.
That final layer gives the cake a lovely golden finish and adds just the right amount of sweetness. The Franklin Raw Honey brings a rich, natural flavor, while the Butter Premium Olive Oil adds a soft buttery note without feeling heavy.
This is the kind of cake you can serve warm with coffee in the afternoon, bring to the table for brunch, or enjoy as a simple dessert after dinner.
It’s unfussy, comforting, and the kind of recipe that makes the kitchen smell wonderful while it bakes.
If you love easy apple desserts with a little something extra, this one is definitely worth making.
