Share
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
- 2 ripe nectarines, pitted and sliced
- 8 cups water
- 4 black tea bags
- 1/4 cup honey or to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Peach Balsamic Vinegar
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
- Ice cubes
Instructions:
- Wash, pit, and slice the peaches and nectarines.
- In a large pot, bring the 8 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the black tea bags. Let steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in the honey while the tea is still warm. Adjust the sweetness to your taste.
- Allow the tea to cool to room temperature. Once cooled, stir in the fresh lemon juice and Peach Balsamic Vinegar.
- In a large pitcher, combine the sliced peaches and nectarines with the cooled tea. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until chilled.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled peach and nectarine tea over the ice. Garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves.
- For an extra burst of flavor, muddle a few peach and nectarine slices with mint leaves at the bottom of each glass before adding the ice and tea.
