Lemon and Oregano Iced Tea
Share
When the summer heat rolls in, sometimes plain iced tea just doesn’t cut it. You need something cold, refreshing, a little zesty, and maybe even a tiny bit fancy—without making it complicated.
This Lemon & Oregano Iced Tea is exactly that. It starts with your favorite black tea, then gets a bright, garden-fresh twist from our Oregano White Balsamic and a silky splash of Lemon Olive Oil. Yes, olive oil in iced tea—and trust us, it works beautifully.
The result is tart, lightly sweet, citrusy, herby, and completely refreshing. It’s perfect for porch sipping, brunch serving, or keeping in the fridge when you want something more exciting than your everyday iced tea.
Why We’re Obsessed:
- It’s tart, sweet, herby, and totally refreshing
- It makes tea time feel like a mini vacation
- It’s a conversation starter ("yes, there’s balsamic in this, and yes, it’s amazing")
Add a few lemon slices, a handful of fresh mint, and plenty of ice, and you’ve got a drink that feels like sunshine in a glass.
Tracey’s Tip: Give the tea a good stir before serving so the Lemon Olive Oil blends beautifully into every sip.

A refreshingly herbal citrus cooler made with black tea, Oregano White Balsamic, Lemon Olive Oil, lemon slices, and fresh mint. Tart, bright, and lightly sweet. Add a touch of honey, a few lemon slices, and a sprig of mint, and you’ve got a refreshingly herbal citrus cooler that’s anything but basic.
Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 3 black tea bags (or green tea if preferred)
-
2 tablespoons Oregano White Balsamic
-
1 tablespoon Lemon Olive Oil
-
1–2 tablespoons Franklin Raw Honey or agave (optional, to taste)
- ½ lemon, thinly sliced
- Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
- Ice
Directions
In a medium pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for 5–7 minutes, then remove the tea bags.
Let the tea cool to room temperature or slightly warm—about 10–15 minutes.
Stir in the Oregano White Balsamic and Lemon Olive Oil.
Add honey or agave to taste and stir well to combine.
Fill a large pitcher with ice and lemon slices. Pour the tea mixture over the ice.
Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Pour into glasses over fresh ice, garnish with mint leaves and extra lemon slices, and enjoy!
Recipe Note
Optional Variations:
Use green tea instead of black tea for a lighter flavor
Add extra lemon slices for more citrus brightness
Sweeten with honey or agave depending on your taste
Tracey’s Notes:
This is not your average iced tea, friends. The Oregano White Balsamic gives it that fresh, savory little garden twist, while the Lemon Olive Oil adds a smooth citrus finish that makes every sip feel special.
