A crisp and refreshing spicy cucumber salad made with Suyo Cucumber White Balsamic, Garlic Olive Oil, soy sauce, and sesame for a sweet, tangy, and lightly spicy side dish.

Spicy Suyo Cucumber Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 large Persian cucumbers or 1 English cucumber, cut into batons or chunks
  • 1 scallion, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic Olive Oil
  • 1œ Tbsp Suyo Cucumber White Balsamic
  • 1 tsp soy sauce or tamari
  • œ tsp Toasted Sesame Oil

  • œ tsp Franklin Raw Honey

  • œ–1 tsp chili crisp or red pepper flakes (to taste)
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Cut into chunky slices or batons. For extra crunch, lightly salt and let sit 5–10 minutes, then pat dry.

  2. Whisk together Garlic Olive Oil, Suyo Cucumber Balsamic, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and chili crisp or red pepper flakes.

  3. Toss cucumbers and scallions in the dressing until well coated.

  4. Let sit 10–30 minutes for deeper flavor, if desired.

  5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
