Pear & Brie Crostini with Rosemary Olive Oil
Share
This is my idea of effortless entertaining.
A warm crostini, creamy brie just starting to melt, sweet pears, a drizzle of local honey, and that unmistakable aroma of Rosemary Premium Olive Oil—it’s the kind of bite that makes people pause mid-conversation and reach for another one.
What I love most about this recipe is how balanced it is. The rosemary olive oil adds a savory note that keeps the brie from feeling too rich. The pears bring natural sweetness without overpowering, and a pinch of sea salt ties everything together. It feels special, but not fussy—and that’s exactly how I like to cook.
This is one of those appetizers that works just as well for a holiday gathering as it does for a casual wine night at home. Set these out warm, pour a glass of something you love, and let everyone help themselves. No stress. No complicated prep. Just really good ingredients doing what they do best.

Warm, crispy crostini topped with melted brie, sweet pears, local honey, and Rosemary Premium Olive Oil for a savory-sweet appetizer that’s perfect for entertaining.
Ingredients
-
1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch rounds
-
2 tbsp Rosemary Premium Olive Oil, plus extra for drizzling
-
8 oz brie cheese, sliced
-
2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
-
2 tbsp Franklin Raw Honey
-
¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
-
Fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish
-
Pinch of sea salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and lightly brush both sides with Rosemary Premium Olive Oil. Bake for 7–10 minutes until lightly golden and crisp.
Remove the bread from the oven and place a slice of brie cheese on each crostini, followed by a slice of pear.
Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 3–5 minutes, just until the brie begins to melt.
Drizzle the crostini with honey, sprinkle with chopped nuts if using, and add a small sprig of fresh rosemary. Finish with a light drizzle of Rosemary Olive Oil and a pinch of sea salt.
Transfer to a serving platter and serve immediately while warm.
Recipe Note
Tracey’s Notes
- Choose pears that are ripe but still firm—they’ll hold their shape better.
- This pairs beautifully with a crisp white wine or a light red.
- For a holiday twist, try adding a few dried cranberries or a splash of balsamic drizzle.
