A rich and comforting creamy chicken garlic Parmesan linguini made with tender chicken, garlic, and a silky Parmesan cream sauce for an easy, restaurant-style pasta dish at home.
Ingredients
- 12 oz linguini
-
2 tbsp Garlic Olive Oil
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup pasta water (reserved from cooking)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions
Boil linguini in salted water according to package instructions. Reserve ¼ cup pasta water before draining.
In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp Garlic Olive Oil over medium heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside.
Add remaining 1 tbsp Garlic Olive Oil to the same pan. Sauté mushrooms until browned (about 5 minutes), then add garlic and cook for another minute.
Reduce heat to low, stir in the heavy cream, and let it gently simmer. Add the Parmesan cheese and reserved pasta water, stirring until smooth.
Return the chicken to the pan, then add drained pasta. Toss everything together until well coated and heated through.
Plate and garnish with fresh parsley and a little extra Parmesan if you’d like. Serve warm!
