Chipotle Chili Butter for Cornbread

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tsp chili paste (like Calabrian chili, harissa, or chipotle in adobo)
  • 1 tbsp Chipotle Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional for sweet heat)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: squeeze of lime or a pinch of lime zest for a bright finish

Instructions:

  • In a small bowl, combine softened butter, chili paste, Chipotle Olive Oil, honey (if using), and salt.
  • Mix until smooth and well combined.
  • Taste and adjust heat or sweetness to your liking.
  • Serve immediately with warm cornbread or chill for later use.
