Pesto Strawberry Caprese Salad



  • Wash and slice the strawberries.
  • Slice the mozzarella cheese into approximately the same size as the strawberry slices.
  • On a large platter, alternately layer the sliced strawberries and mozzarella cheese, slightly overlapping each piece for a pleasing presentation.
  • Drizzle the Bella Cucina Basil Pesto over the layered strawberries and mozzarella.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves scattered over the top.
  • If desired, add a drizzle of balsamic glaze for an extra layer of flavor.
  • Season lightly with salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste.
  • This dish is best enjoyed fresh, ideally served at room temperature to allow the flavors to meld beautifully.
