Ingredients:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup Butter Premium Olive Oil
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons Raspberry Dark Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350ºF (175ºC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set it aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the olive oil and granulated sugar together until well combined. Add the egg and beat until the mixture is creamy and smooth.
- Stir in the balsamic vinegar and vanilla extract into the wet ingredients.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until a soft dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, you can add a little more flour until it's manageable.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about ¼ -inch thickness. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the cookies and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, dust the cookies with powdered sugar to give them a sweet finish.
