Lemongrass Mint Tea Recipe at The Little Shop of Olive Oils

Ice Tea with Lemongrass Mint Balsamic Vinegar


  • 4 cups of water
  • 4 tea bags (black or green tea, depending on your preference)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Lemongrass Mint Balsamic Vinegar (from The Little Shop of Olive Oils)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and fresh mint leaves for garnish


  • Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
  • Remove from heat and add the tea bags.
  • Let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.
  • Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
  • In a large pitcher, combine the brewed tea, fresh lemon juice, and Lemongrass Mint Balsamic Vinegar.
  • Stir well to mix all the ingredients.
  • If you prefer a sweeter tea, add honey or agave syrup to taste, and stir until it is completely dissolved.
  • Refrigerate the tea for at least 1 hour, or until it is well chilled.
  • Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice.
  • Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves.
