
Fresh Burrata Salad

Ingredients:
- 2 fresh burrata balls
- 2 cups cherry or heirloom tomatoes, halved
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Champagne White Wine Vinegar (Optional)
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Crusty bread or crostini (optional, for serving)
Instructions:
- Arrange the halved cherry or heirloom tomatoes on a large serving plate or shallow bowl.
- Gently place the burrata balls in the center of the plate, surrounded by tomatoes.
- Generously drizzle the extra virgin olive oil over the burrata and tomatoes. If using balsamic vinegar, drizzle that as well for added flavor.
- Sprinkle the salad with lemon zest, a pinch of salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
- Serve immediately with crusty bread or crostini for a delightful appetizer or light meal.
