Chipotle Chicken Burger


  • 1 lb. ground chicken
  • 2 tablespoons Chipotle Premium Olive Oil
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of cheese (optional)
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced tomato
  • Your favorite burger sauce (Our Aioli with a Kick is one of our favorites)


  • In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chipotle infused olive oil, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
  • Divide the mixture into four equal parts and shape them into burger patties.
  • Preheat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165ºF (74ºC).
  • If using cheese, place a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  • Toast the burger buns on the grill or skillet until lightly browned.
  • Spread your favorite burger sauce on the bottom bun.
  • Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by the cooked chicken patty.
  • Add a slice of tomato on top of the patty.
  • Finish with the top bun.
  • Serve the chipotle chicken burgers immediately with your favorite sides.
