Spicy Jalapeno & Lime Margarita


  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz Key Lime White Balsamic Vinegar
  • ½ oz triple sec or Cointreau
  • ½ oz fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 1-2 slices of fresh jalapeño (more if you like it spicier)
  • Ice cubes
  • Salt and chili powder mix for rimming the glass
  • Lime wedge and additional jalapeño slices for garnish


  • Mix salt and chili powder on a small plate.
  • Rub the rim of a glass with a lime wedge and dip it into the salt-chili mix to coat.
  • In a shaker, muddle the jalapeño slices with the simple syrup to release their spicy flavors.
  • Add the tequila, key lime white balsamic vinegar, triple sec, and fresh lime juice to the shaker.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until the outside of the shaker feels cold.
  • Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge and additional jalapeño slices if desired.
