Apple Prosciutto Flatbread Pizza
Share
There’s something about the transition from summer into fall in New England—the golden light, apple stands popping up along side roads, and cool evenings that still ask for something fresh and flavorful. That’s where this Apple Prosciutto Flatbread Pizza comes in. It’s easy, elegant, and hits the perfect balance of sweet, salty, creamy, and crisp.
You start with a flatbread or pizza crust (no fuss, minimal prep), brush it with good extra-virgin olive oil, then layer on the melty mozzarella. Thin slices of fresh apple offer a juicy, sweet crunch that pairs beautifully with salty prosciutto. Sprinkle on goat cheese for tang, bake until everything is warm and bubbly, then finish it off with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and a handful of arugula for peppery freshness.
Whether you serve this as an appetizer for friends or a lighter dinner with a green salad, it captures that late summer vibe—just enough warmth from the oven, just enough brightness from seasonal fruit.
