Korean Cream Cheese Garlic Bread

Ingredients:

For the Bread:

  • 4 bread rolls (preferably round and soft)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Garlic Butter Mixture:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp garlic olive oil
  • 1 tbsp pineapple balsamic vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Set aside a small amount of mozzarella, parsley and Parmesan for Garnish

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the bread rolls into 6-8 wedges, making sure not to cut all the way through to keep the base intact.
  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic olive oil, pineapple balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, honey, and chopped parsley. Mix well.
  • Gently spread the cream cheese mixture between the wedges of each bread roll.
  • Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the top and inside the wedges of each bread roll.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
  • Place the prepared bread rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly
  • Garnish before serving.
