Ingredients:
For the Bread:
- 4 bread rolls (preferably round and soft)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Garlic Butter Mixture:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp garlic olive oil
- 1 tbsp pineapple balsamic vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Set aside a small amount of mozzarella, parsley and Parmesan for Garnish
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the bread rolls into 6-8 wedges, making sure not to cut all the way through to keep the base intact.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic olive oil, pineapple balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, honey, and chopped parsley. Mix well.
- Gently spread the cream cheese mixture between the wedges of each bread roll.
- Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the top and inside the wedges of each bread roll.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Place the prepared bread rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly
- Garnish before serving.
