
Spicy Cajun Shrimp

Ingredients:
- 1-pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons Jalapeno Premium Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper.
- Add the shrimp to the seasoning mix and toss until they are well coated.
- Heat the EVOO in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add the shrimp in a single layer. Cook for about 2 minutes on one side until they start to turn pink.
- Flip the shrimp and cook for another 1-2 minutes on the other side until they are fully cooked and have a nice sear.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
- Serve the Cajun shrimp immediately with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the shrimp.
