Milanese Gremolata Shrimp and Pasta
Share
There are nights when you want dinner to feel special… but you don’t want it to feel complicated.
That’s exactly why I love this Milanese Gremolata Shrimp and Pasta. The beauty of using Milanese Gremolata Premium Olive Oil is that it already brings lemon, parsley, garlic, and just a whisper of mint to the dish. It’s like having a built-in flavor boost without chopping, zesting, and measuring a dozen ingredients.
Shrimp cooks quickly, pasta is always comforting, and when everything comes together in one skillet, it feels effortless. Light, fresh, and full of flavor — without being heavy.
This is one of those recipes that makes people think you worked harder than you did. Serve it with a simple salad and a glass of crisp white wine, and dinner is done.
Simple ingredients. Big flavor. Exactly how I like to cook.

Ingredients
-
8 ounces pasta
-
2 tablespoons Milanese Gremolata Premium Olive Oil
-
1 pound large shrimp, peeled, deveined, tails removed
-
½ teaspoon salt
-
½ teaspoon black pepper
-
1 tablespoon minced garlic (optional)
-
1 teaspoon diced flat leaf parsley (optional)
-
1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
-
Shredded Parmesan, to taste
Directions
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the Milanese Gremolata Premium Olive Oil over medium heat.
If using, add the minced garlic and sauté until lightly golden.
Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 2–3 minutes total, flipping halfway through, until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
If using, stir in the parsley and lemon zest briefly to combine.
Reduce heat to low, add the cooked pasta to the skillet, and toss gently until evenly coated. Adjust seasoning as needed.
Sprinkle with Parmesan and serve immediately.
Recipe Note
Tracey’s Notes
- Because the Milanese Gremolata Olive Oil already contains lemon, parsley, garlic, and mint, you can skip the optional ingredients if you're short on time.
- Shrimp cooks quickly — don’t overcook or it will become rubbery.
- A drizzle of extra olive oil just before serving adds beautiful shine and flavor.
