Lemon Garlic Chicken Wings-The Little Shop of Olive Oils

Lemon Garlic Chicken Wings

  • 2 lbs. chicken wings, tips removed and drumettes separated
  • ¼ cup Lemon Premium Olive Oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon Franklin Raw Honey
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

  • Preheat your oven to 400ºF (200ºC). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. This allows the chicken to cook evenly and become crisp.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together EVOO, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, honey, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat thoroughly with the lemon garlic marinade. Let them marinate for at least 20 minutes, or for more flavor, cover and refrigerate for a couple of hours or overnight.
  • Arrange the marinated chicken wings on the wire rack, making sure they are not touching each other for proper heat circulation.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and the skin is crisp.
  • Halfway through baking, you can flip the wings to ensure even cooking and browning.
  • Once done, remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.
  • Transfer the wings to a serving plate, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve while hot.
