Fig Balsamic Glazed Salmon
Share
This is one of those recipes I love sharing because it feels impressive — but it’s so easy.
Salmon is already rich and flavorful on its own, but when you brush it with a glaze made from our Mission Fig Dark Balsamic, a little Franklin Raw Honey, fresh garlic, and Dijon… it becomes something really beautiful.
The fig balsamic adds depth and just a touch of sweetness that caramelizes in the oven. The Garlic Premium Olive Oil gives it that savory foundation. And the result? Tender, flaky salmon with a glossy, flavorful finish.
If you like a little heat, a pinch of red pepper flakes wakes it up. If you don’t, it’s just perfectly balanced as it is.
Serve it with roasted vegetables, a simple salad, or even over rice. It’s fresh, satisfying, and one of those recipes that makes dinner feel thoughtful without a lot of effort.
Friendly, flavorful, and always a good idea.

3 Tbsp Mission Fig Dark Balsamic Vinegar
-
2 Tbsp Franklin Raw Honey
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tsp Dijon mustard
-
Salt, to taste
-
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Fresh thyme or parsley, for garnish (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease with olive oil.
In a small bowl, whisk together Mission Fig Dark Balsamic, honey, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, red pepper flakes (if using), and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Drizzle Garlic Premium Olive Oil over the fillets and season lightly with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Brush the fig balsamic glaze generously over the tops of the salmon.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork and glaze is slightly caramelized.
Remove from oven and let rest for 1–2 minutes.
Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
Recipe Note
Tracey’s Notes
- Don’t overbake — salmon continues cooking slightly after you remove it from the oven.
- The fig balsamic enhances the salmon without overpowering it.
- This is just as good the next day flaked into a salad.
Optional
- Broil for the last 1–2 minutes for extra caramelization.
- Add a squeeze of fresh lemon before serving for brightness.
- Serve over couscous or quinoa for a complete meal.
