Baked Salmon with Lychee Balsamic Vinegar Dressing
Share
There are some dinners that feel light and fresh… but still full of flavor. This is one of them.
Salmon is already beautiful on its own, but when you brush it with a warm glaze made from Lychee White Balsamic Vinegar, honey, ginger, and garlic, something really lovely happens. The balsamic brings a gentle fruitiness — not overly sweet, just balanced and bright.
What I love about this recipe is how the glaze thickens slightly on the stove, then caramelizes just a bit in the oven. That final quick broil gives the top a beautiful finish without drying out the fish.
It’s the kind of meal that feels thoughtful and nourishing. Pair it with simple greens or roasted vegetables and dinner is done — fresh, vibrant, and layered with flavor.
Good ingredients. Gentle heat. And a balsamic that does something unexpected.

Tender baked salmon brushed with a sweet and savory Lychee Balsamic glaze made with garlic, ginger, honey, and soy sauce for a bright and flavorful main dish.
Ingredients
-
4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
-
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
2 garlic cloves, minced
-
¼ cup Lychee White Balsamic Vinegar
-
1 tablespoon honey
-
1 tablespoon soy sauce
-
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
-
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Pat salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add garlic and ginger and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in Lychee White Balsamic Vinegar, honey, and soy sauce. Simmer for 4–5 minutes until slightly thickened and syrupy. Remove from heat.
Place salmon on a parchment-lined or lightly greased baking sheet. Brush generously with the balsamic glaze, reserving some for serving.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
For a caramelized top, switch oven to broil for 1–2 minutes, watching closely.
Remove from oven, drizzle with remaining glaze, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Recipe Note
Tracey’s Notes
- Don’t overcook — salmon continues to cook slightly after removing from the oven.
- The glaze can be made ahead and reheated gently.
- Lovely served with steamed broccoli, rice, or a crisp salad.
