Cranberry Pear Palmiers – A Sweet Little Holiday Swirl
Share
If you’re looking for a simple, elegant pastry that looks like it came straight from a boutique bakery, these Cranberry Pear Palmiers are about to become your new holiday obsession. Light, crisp, buttery, and beautifully swirled, palmiers are a French pastry that feel delightfully fancy — yet take almost no time to make. And this version has a Little Shop twist: a brush of Cranberry Pear White Balsamic that adds a bright, fruity pop to every bite.
As they bake, the pastry turns golden and flaky, the sugar caramelizes just enough for that signature crunch, and the Cranberry Pear Balsamic brings a whisper of festive flavor that balances the sweetness perfectly. Serve them with tea, after-dinner coffee, or on a holiday dessert board — and watch them disappear one by one.
They’re stunning, giftable, and dangerously easy. Make one batch for guests… and one for yourself. Trust us.

Crisp, caramelized French pastry swirls infused with a hint of Cranberry Pear Balsamic — a light, elegant, and irresistible holiday treat.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
-
2 tbsp Cranberry Pear White Balsamic
- 2 tbsp butter, melted (or use Butter Olive Oil)
- 3 tbsp sugar (or vanilla sugar)
- ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
- Powdered sugar for finishing
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Gently unfold the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Brush the pastry with melted butter (or Butter Olive Oil). Drizzle Cranberry Pear Balsamic over the pastry and spread lightly to coat. Sprinkle with sugar (and cinnamon, if using).
- Roll the left long side toward the center. Roll the right long side toward the center until both rolls meet in the middle.
- Refrigerate for 10 minutes to firm up for cleaner slicing.
- Slice the pastry into ½-inch pieces and lay flat, cut side up, on the baking sheet. Bake 14–17 minutes, flipping halfway if needed, until golden and caramelized.
- Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar. Enjoy warm or room-temperature.
Recipe Note
