Ingredients
- For the Churros:
- 1 cup water
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt

2 Tbsp Blood Orange Olive Oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
- For the Coating:
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Zest of 1 orange (optional but delicious)
- For Drizzling (Optional):
- Melted dark chocolate

Directions
- In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, salt, and Blood Orange Olive Oil. Bring to a gentle boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until the mixture forms a soft dough.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F.
- Spoon the dough into a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
- Pipe 3–4 inch strips directly into the hot oil, cutting with scissors.
- Fry until golden brown, about 2–3 minutes per side.
- Transfer to a paper towel–lined plate.
- Mix sugar, cinnamon, and orange zest in a shallow bowl.
- Roll warm churros in the mixture until evenly coated.
- Enjoy as-is, drizzle with chocolate, or finish with a light splash of Blood Orange Olive Oil for extra citrus aroma.
