Ingredients:
- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoons Chipotle Premium Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt to taste
- 2-3 tablespoons water (as needed for desired consistency)
- Paprika and fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Drain and rinse the chickpeas thoroughly.
- In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, chipotle infused olive oil, tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, and salt.
- Blend until smooth, adding water gradually until you reach your desired consistency.
- Taste the hummus and adjust the seasoning as needed, adding more salt, lemon juice, or chipotle infused olive oil to taste.
- Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl.
- Drizzle with additional chipotle infused olive oil and garnish with a sprinkle of paprika and fresh parsley, if desired.
- Serve with pita bread, fresh vegetables, or as a spread on sandwiches.
